Provide multiple ways of Engagement that stimulates interest and motivation for learning. (e.g. offer opportunities for goal setting, self reflection, and self assessment)
Provide multiple ways of Representation that presents information and content in different ways and formats. (e.g. record your in-person lectures as video with closed captions, provide the slides, notes, and transcript, and hands-on practice exercise)
Provide multiple ways of Action & Expression that differentiates the ways that students can express what they know.” (e.g. allow students to choose how they submit an assignment such as a written paper, recorded presentation, website, etc.)
Inclusive Design is a methodology, born out of digital environments, that enables and draws on the full range of human diversity. Most importantly, this means including and learning from people with a range of perspectives.
