This checklist uses the The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a reference point. The WCAG is a shared standard for web content accessibility for individuals, organizations, and governments.

The issues this checklist prompts you to check for covers a wide range of disability conditions.
Adobe Pro Accessibility Checker
Check your PDF documents for accessibility using the Adobe Pro Accessibility Checker.
Microsoft Accessibility Checker for Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook
Check your Word documents for accessibility using the built-in accessibility checker.
tota11y
The process of testing for accessibility (a11y) is often tedious and confusing. tota11y aims to reduce this barrier of entry by helping visualize accessibility violations (and successes), while educating on best practices.
WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool
WAVE is a suite of evaluation tools that help authors make their web content more accessible to individuals with disabilities. WAVE can identify many accessibility and Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) errors, but also facilitates human evaluation of web content.

Unfortunately, there is not one tool that magically checks it all. Here are a couple options:

Word: included in built-inaccessibility checker. Click File, Check for Issues, Check Accessibility
Webpages: WAVE tool
PDFs in Chrome: Color Contrast Analyzer Chrome Plugin
Check any two colors (e.g. text/background) with WebAim's Color Contrast Checker
If needed, you can also check download the Paciello Group's Color Contrast Checker (Download button, choose CCA-Setup-3.1.1.exe)
