Convocation 2025: Michael Punke

MSU Library 2025 Convocation Book Discussion

Thursday, August 14, 2025, 12 - 1 p.m.

We will meet in the Burton K. Wheeler Reading Room of MSU's Archives and Special
Collections, located on the 2nd floor of the Renne Library

The MSU Library is collaborating to promote and support campus engagement with the 2025 First Year Student Convocation event by holding an open discussion of Michael Punke's Fire and Brimstone in the library on August 14 from 12-1. If you would like to participate and would like a free copy of Fire and Brimstone, please fill out this form https://forms.office.com/r/P09fsEBcqi Copies are limited and we ask that if you request a copy, you commit to attending the discussion.

This discussion will be open to the public, but space is limited. MSU faculty and staff are especially encouraged to register and attend. Our discussion will be held in the Burton K. Wheeler Reading Room of the MSU Library's Archives and Special Collections on the 2nd floor of Renne Library.  Librarian/archivist Cari Coe will lead the discussion and will incorporate archival materials related to a major player in Montana and national politics of the time, US Senator Burton K. Wheeler. Please note that Michael Punke will not be present at this discussion.
