Campus sustainability?
Sustainability refers to humanity's "ability to make development sustainable - to ensure that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs," according to the Brundtland Report of the World Commission on Environment and Development (1987). Thus, campus sustainability concerns students, staff, faculty, and visitors meeting college and university campus needs in such a way as to assure continuity and meet the needs of future campus users.
