Free Citation Management: EndNote Web

EndNote Basic is free (to all users) bibliographic management and formatting software. It can help you manage citations and references throughout the process of writing a research paper.

  • Organize references to cite in papers
  • Store references from Web of Science and other databases.
  • Take notes about items you read, and search through your database of citations
  • Direct online searching from within EndNote Web of some databases
  • Ability to import citations from most other databases
  • Format bibliographies in APA, MLA, Chicago, and hundreds of other styles
  • Attach PDFs of the article directly to the citation
