Databases and Websites

Below are library databases and websites that can serve as a tool to locate government document titles.  Use the dates of coverage to determine which database to use.  For example, if you are researching a topic that occurred in 1952, then you would want to search Public Documents Masterfile or Congressional Research Service since they includes sources from that time period.

Branches of Government

There are three branches of the U.S. Government.  Each produces a large amount of information.
